Banking on brighter futures

Banking on brighter futures helps disadvantaged people work towards financial independence and security.

Barclays is pledging to invest $150 million and 150,000 hours of colleagues’ time over the next five years to fund 1,500 projects.  
We’re using our skills and expertise to help people to help themselves.

Our support includes helping people understand the importance of managing their money, train for better jobs or start their own businesses.

Roses of Mbuya
Roses of Mbuya is a tailoring workshop offering skills development and employment to people with HIV/Aids in the Mbuya parish, Uganda. The project targets women in the local parish. Over 68% of the active clients are females, many of whom are single mothers or widows.  Read more...
