What are the payment limits?
The overall daily payment limit to third parties in Online Banking is £10,000. To make payments over this limit, contact your branch.
Changing your payments
If you set up a payment to be made on a date in the future but then change your mind, you can change or cancel it by selecting 'Change Payments' from the menu on your Online Banking At a Glance page.
The payment will be shown on your See Statements screen if you've arranged for it to be made immediately.
How long do payments take?
Payments you make to another Barclays account: Arrive on the same day.
Payments to Barclaycard: Take a working day to show on your Barclaycard statement.
Where possible, payments to other banks arrive on the same day but some payments take longer. Payments over £10,000, where allowed, take at least three working days.
All payments made after 6.30pm or on a non-working day are dated the next working day on your statement.
