16 - 19s: Young Person's Account

To apply:

 Pop into your local branch with your ID.

Debit card:

• Shop with your Connect card where you see the VISA sign.
• Withdraw up to £300 a day at any Barclays cash machine or wherever you see the PLUS sign (as long as you have enough money in your account).

Banking:

• Pay direct into your account from another account.
• Online Banking from home.
• Set up direct debits and standing orders for easy regular payments.

* To be eligible for this account at 19 you should either be in further education or taking a gap year before starting a full-time higher education course.
